WOYWW211!!!

Hello Everyone again!! Where has this week gone lol!  This won't be a long post as I am trying to get lots of things done before I go to see my cousin for a week on Friday.  So without further ado..:-)...here is my desk this week!

I have been working on some backgrounds that I had in my Dyan Reaveley art journal and just zoning out doing them, what a great way to distress.  My desk hasn't changed much over the weeks, never really tidy hehehe.  The lamp that you can see, the silver looking pole... the light part lifts up and comes on when you do, and it is just wonderful as it is a daylight lamp and now I can see in my little dark corner....yippee, my eyesight thanks me lol!

These next 2 photos.... the first one was a mop up page and when I looked at it I thought to myself that would make a great page, and this is the way it turned out :-).  The next photo are my first attempts with the Gelli plate.  I don't care what anyone thinks it does take a bit to get used to it! But I think that I am going to love using the plate!!

Pop on over to Stamping Ground to check out the wonderful desks from all over the world!!

Okay that is all I have to show.  I hope that you all had a great week and will have an even greater week ahead. Live laugh and love well.  Until next time take care.

Janene

  5. I love the mop up page...sometimes they turn out better than the ones you're making! Dyan's journals are gorgeous, the paper just takes all the ink you can throw at it. I'm still not sure about Gelli Plates (think I'd be taking on something else that I don't really need) Hugs. Pam#38

  19. I also have one of those OTT lights and LOVE it. Mine is boring black, though. I don't own a Gelli plate, so I hope you learn to love yours. Have a super WOYWW from #17.

  23. Great idea to use the mop up page...and it looks great!
I don't know what a Jeli plate is...there is a lot of talk on here about them in the last few weeks. Now that I am back at the lake and spending a couple of weeks just relaxing, I will have to google it and read all about it...
Thanks for stopping by my blog.

  24. Janene,
I just love all your vibrant colors in your work. I also have to chuckle with your comments about your children knowing where you are - in your office happily painting. I've been there and done that. Watch out. The gelli plate is addicting. There are do many things you can do with it. I just learned how to do transfers onto clear packing tape with the gelli plate.
