Oh my WOYWW 233!

Hi everyone!!  I have been MIA for a couple of weeks, nothing wrong...just life rushing at a 100 miles an hour lol :-).  I hope that all of you are well and have had a great couple of weeks and have had fun Christmas shopping!!  I have only a few things and that is so unlike me as I usually have things well in hand by now....I will get a move on in the next couple of weeks...I hope!
Here is my desk for this week...
I am working on a canvas and using lots of different paints, inks, watercolours, Gelatos etc and loving how it is coming together.  I have to say that I am having a love affair with moulding paste...wow so good for adding texture :-).
Next are a few pictures of what I have been up to over the last couple of weeks...

The first photo is a mixed media canvas, and the next an art journal page that I decided to be a bit different with and the next is a background that I haven't put any words on yet.  For some reason all I can come up with when I look at this page is...calm calm got to stay calm lol.  The next photo is using some left over acrylic paint that I scraped across the 2 pages and Dylusions Inks and this is what came out of it....interesting!!
Leaving you with a piccy of what I have just bought to feed my addiction hehehe.  Have a wonderful week and now I am off to Julia's blog Stamping Ground to go and visit some of you wonderful crafty artists :-).

Janene xx

  9. Wow! You have been one very busy lady. I love that first picture - I can just imagine the light shining into that window. Thanks for your visit - yes, that landing makes a great space to work - it's over 18feet long - so a lovely space for me to fill to capacity!!
    Have a great week.

  10. Nice to see you and your works! Feeding your addiction..ah..I get it...you need to do that before Christmas shopping or how will you stay sane!! I'm impressed that you say you're working on that canvas - your desk is so tidy! I see calm in the third piece too...maybe meditation as it has an influence of oriental about it to me. Love the bargello'd page!

  18. Absolutely gorgeous work on your mixed canvas and art journal! What fun. Thank you for sharing that story about your cuttlebug--it makes all the work you do with it so special. I don't have experience with all the various diecut machines--I just kept seeing the Big Shot on different websites and made up my mind I had to have one! Thanks for your sweet visit. Happy WOYWW!
